Airplane tours of the Peace River, Myakka River, Charlotte Harbor and along the shoreline of the Gulf of Mexico, are available for booking. These tours of either 1/2 hour or 1 hour provide a onderful picture-taking experience that is simply unbelievable! We offer Kayak rental for our guests to tour the shoreline of Charlotte Harbor as well as the beauty of the Peace River.
Night Shark fishing tours are also available with all tours leaving and returning to Banana Bay's Dock. Our 500 ft. dock will provide your "catch of the day" for dinner! Just clean it and cook it on our gas grills!
Life here is very friendly and casual. You'll feel right at home! Bring your boat if you like! There is no extra charge!
On a budget? Don't want to spring for a car? NO PROBLEM! If you are staying up to 3 days, you can survive without a car. A taxi ride is $15 to $20 each way. Then you can rent our bikes for $5 each per day. You can bike for groceries, over the bridge to quaint Punta Gorda downtown, to Fishermen's Village and to the parks. Since you'll have a kitchen and can grill out, and fish, and swim, you'll be plenty busy in the sunshine!
Banana Bay Waterfront Motel offers both motel rooms and efficiencies with fully equipped kichenettes. Stay for a day, a week or a month!

Airports
Fort Myers (RSW)is 50 minutes south and very pleasant with good pricing.
Punta Gorda (PGD) is 10 minutes south, great pricing and very convenient.
Sarasota Airport (SRQ) is only 45 minutes away but is slightly higher in price.
Tampa Airport (TPA) is 1.5 hrs north and although a little cheaper, can be confusing and crowded.
Orlando Airport (ORL) is 3 hours north but could be convenient if doubling up with a Disney vacation.

Directions
For GPS: Use either Punta Gorda or Charlotte Harbor as the City
From the south: Take I-75 to exit 164 (SR 17) go west to US 41 (NB), turn R (north) go over bridge but get in the left lane before the end of the bridge. Take the first left over the bridge onto Bayshore Rd. - we are right behind the miniature golf place.
From the north: Take 1-75 to exit 170 (Kings Hwy) go west to US 41. Turn L (south), get in the right lane and the road will turn onto Bayshore Road and we are the 2nd building on left after you turn. DON'T GO OVER THE BRIDGE.
